About Rafiki Interns and Volunteers Africa

“Rafiki” is a Swahili word that means “Friend” in English. At Rafiki Intern and volunteering Africa, we believe in the power of friendship, compassion, and collaboration to bring positive change to our communities.

Rafiki Interns and Volunteers Africa Operate under Gilys and Rafiki Initiative Organization (RIO), meaning it is managed and overseen by RIO. RIO was officially established in 2018 and registered under Tanzanian NGO regulations with registration number 00NGO/R/8219. Read More About RIO
